It sounds like you weren't denied for credit reasons, but rather for being out of the credit card issuers network. In that case, they may have not actually pulled credit if they caught that early on. But if they did pull credit, which you should be able to find out with a disclosure they sent you in the mail along with your denial letter, your score will likely only drop by a minimal number of points, so don't fret. |

Every time you apply for credit it lowers you beacon score. So yes, it effects you credit. The score will go up in about 6 months after each inquirery. |

It would show up as an Inquiry on your credit report, lowering your score. |

Any inquiry will affect your credit score slightly. The reason is that creditors will see each inquiry as an attempt to get more credit cards open, which may be viewed negatively (they may think you keep applying for credit because you have no cash flow). Hope this helps. Here's a link too.

The inquiry will show and depending upon how many inquiries have been made, might lower your score slightly. |
