You are in good shape compared to most americans. You just have to cut back on your spending to pay down your debt.
I live in NJ and i make little more than yo do and I have worked those same long hours. I managed to buy 2 houses by being frugle. Cars and houses are our biggest expense here.
1 DONT BUY NEW CARS (payments and insurance will kill you)
2 Get roommates (my 3 roommates pay for my house, I live there for FREE........YES, I said FREE!!!!)
Even if you have an apartment get one with more than 1 bedroom and get a roommate.
when your cell plan comes due get a nextel/sprint with free incoming calls and free evenings/weekends. |

Is that 80 hrs/week of 80 hrs/month? If you mean 80 hrs/month. Get another job to pay off your debt, you should be able to be clear by the end of the year. If you mean 80 hrs/week, you are making $37,000 a year and no time for a life. You should be able to pay off $2,000 by the end of June. If sounds like you need a budget more than anything. |

$2000 is not a big debt. You can try to get a bank loan and pay off your debt. If you have a good credit or have a car, you should not have any problem. Once you get your debt consolidated into one payment, you should put your credit cards away. Only used them on emergency. Be careful with you spending from now on. Do not buy on credit, unless you can afford to pay it off when the bill comes. Try to start saving a little each month. Very soon you will be back on financial health. |
