You can amend your petition. Why not consider ordering a credit report? You will have to get credit counseling before you file. Not everyone with only $10,000 in debt should file a chapter 7 case. Be truly certain that it is in your best interest before you file as you won't be able to get chapter 7 relief again for another 8 years. Even if you don't find the bill, it will be discharged anyway in chapter 7 under the "Mendiola" doctrine. Ask your attorney to explain this to you.

You Chapter 7 can always be amended but of course it will cost you more for the additional filing.

As long as your bankruptcy has not discharged, yes you can add additional bills. Your lawyer might charge you additional fees though.

I included another bill after filing. My lawyer just charged me a little bit more money to do so. This was a long while ago though so ask the lawyer about it.

I believe that everything must be included at the time you are filing for bankruptcy. You need to find other bills before you do so.
