Have you considered the Imagine MasterCard at http://creditoffernow.com/imaginecard. You don’t need to have good credit to get a great credit card. $350 Gold Master Card. I think this is what you are looking for. |

If you are a student, get a student credit card. All major card issuers like Citi, Chase, BOA, Discover has student credit cards with no annual fee. You should be able to a card from these issuers.
If you are not a student, you have a few choices. Go to your bank officer and sign up for a secured credit card. You seem to be against this idea, but secured credit cards is the least costly way to get a credit card if you have no credit. Make sure the cards report to the three major credit bureaus and pay your bills on time. Within 6 to 18 months, you should get offers for regular unsecured credit card.
You can also apply for credit cards that are designed for those with poor credit or no credit. But they have very high fees and low limits to begin with.
You can get someone to co-sign a card for you. |

try a major dept store card, like sears or jcpenney. The beginningl imit they give youmay not be much BUT they will eventually raise it and your credit will be better and you will get more offers or acceptance afterwards. This all takes time. |
