In your opinion, what are the characteristics of a good credit card?
be realistic...

what makes for a satisfying credit card? what is the most important thing to you: access to cash, good customer service, low rates, rewards programs, billing options?

name names if you like.

Since I always plan on paying in full, here's what I look for:

1. No annual fee
2. Good rewards or cashback program
3. Outstanding customer service
4. Additional Service - rental car insurance, price protection, extended warantees etc.

Realistic,Patz? I'm more of a dreamer...

May I give you my answer, anyway?

A good credit card,for me,would have to:

Belong to me.

Allow me to give my family the good life they deserve and to travel,my biggest dreams.

After taking care of things at home,I'd go to the US,to be with my dear friends at the most important wedding of the year!;) :)

Low interest rate is the most important thing. The best thing of course is to not have any credit cards...they're evil :)

number 1 - low fixed rate apr, dont be fooled by introductory offers alone. also, that they aren't charging a yearly fee. for your own sake you may want to take into account late and overlimit fees also because sometimes they can really be killer... online billpay is also very convenient. customer service... eh, not unless I really feel like talking to a person, in which case I really hate it when I call to ask a question and they try to sell me something (Capital One)! Rewards programs are often not worth it since you end up more than paying for any reward you would get anyway, due to higher rates and larger fees.
