number 1 - low fixed rate apr, dont be fooled by introductory offers alone. also, that they aren't charging a yearly fee. for your own sake you may want to take into account late and overlimit fees also because sometimes they can really be killer... online billpay is also very convenient. customer service... eh, not unless I really feel like talking to a person, in which case I really hate it when I call to ask a question and they try to sell me something (Capital One)! Rewards programs are often not worth it since you end up more than paying for any reward you would get anyway, due to higher rates and larger fees. |
