Above 750 qualifies you for the best possible loan rates and terms, anything above this is just bragging rights.
I have a score around 790 and have been trying to break 800 for years just because it would be big time bragging rights. |

Yes, between 630-675 is average. Below 600 is not so hot. Under 500 you are a loser.
You have to remember though, that having a high score is not necessarily good credit. You need to have history of balances paid and money borrowed. Having a credit history is just as important. |

I was wondering the same thing if my score was good so I tried finding a new credit card from the following site with great rewards and I was approved! Is it a FICO score or a Vantage Score? FICO score of 761 is considered excellent. The max FICO score is 850 and 750+ is considered excellent. Vantage scores range up to 990 and 761 would be considered average. |

yes that's an awesome score! I work for a mortgage company and we give a loan to anyone over 540 but the rates go down the higher you get to 800, 761 is unbelievable! |
