No, some vendors will take a money order, or just use PayPal- you can set up an account with them using a debit card or linkup with your bank account. It's very safe. :)

Simply here to Help
I coped this from the site:

There are a number of ways to pay on eBay. Most sellers offer more than one option. Some payment options offer more protection than others, so be sure to select a method of payment that makes you feel comfortable. Before you bid on an item or use Buy It Now, make sure that the seller's payment options will work for you. If you have questions about payment options, you should contact the seller directly.

PayPal is the preferred payment method for most eBay buyers and sellers. PayPal enables you to send payments quickly and securely online using a credit card or bank account. However, you should first check that the seller offers PayPal as a payment method for their listing. To learn about the advantages and disadvantages of the major payment methods, see About Payment Methods.

Important: eBay does not recommend cash or cash wire transfers as a payment method. You do not retain any proof of your payment, and will have little to no remedy for transaction problems.

No you can pay by Pay Pal, but you do need to sign up with Pay pal and they can set up to work directly with your bank

livitup11
PayPal is the easiest way to pay for things bought on ebay, and that does require either a credit card or debit card, like most online purchases do.

no, you can use a money order or paypal. be careful when bidding. some people will only take paypal and will only take money orders if they give you permission. happy bidding!

rosie
You can pay by cheque to some sellers however most prefer paypal becuase its quicker and so yes (sorry!) it does require a credit/debit card (in most cases).

winkeydawg

you can use a credit or debit card or get a paypal account where you transfer money into.(via your own bank account).some people will except cheques or postal orders, or cash on collection (if that is possible)

Mazz
Check cards or debit cards with either a Visa or Mastercard logo on them will be fine.

Paypal is good, too, because it's linked to an account.

You can also contact the seller to see what they will be willing to do to take your money.

snowqueen_ink726
NO! Most sellers only accept payments through paypal but some will take cashiers check/money order or paypal. It all depends on the forms of payment the seller has listed. You can fid out what they accept by scrolling down to the bottom of the item page and there should be a grid saying if they accept paypal only or other forms. You can go onto Ebay and go under help and they can help you with any questions you still have.

yes thru Paypal

Girl_Guitarist
Of course. You could try paypal, AN ONLINE bank account, but that doesn't really secure your money very well, so I don't recommend it.
