I have not had any problems with identity theft or illegal use of my credit card numbers and I have been doing business with Amazon for 4 years.
For future reference ALWAYS check a website privacy policy and do some Internet research on the company too. You can also check the Better Business Bureau for additional information on a specific company. I do a lot of shopping via the Internet and have been very lucky because I've done my homework.
You can type in the name of the company and then a comma and the word scam in the google search window too and that will give you good or negative information about a company. |

I have ordered from them quite a few times - all was fine.
This and "Boots" are the only 2 sites i would trust with my credit card details!
I don't think you have anything to worry about with them, i have only heard good reports also, and i know a lot of people who use amazon to order books.
