there are some reputable sites that will pay off your 2 cards and consolidate them into one payment which will probably be less than you are paying on the 2 together. KC, This is a credit world, having a high credit score is a big plus. But always pay it off at the end of the month or at least pay the minimum on time, if you are late that is when your interest rates will soar. Search the Internet for consolidating loan companies. They are out there, just be wise in making your choices. You are a very responible girl I wish my son could take some lessons from you. Give that baby a kiss for meme. Jk |

If you don't like customer service, make sure you do everything right so you don't have to deal with them. |

you will save more money with two credit cards at 9%. However sometimes if you pay off the credit cards with a loan from another institution, they will try to get you back by sending you offers with even lower interest rates. It might be worth a try to show them you mean business
I got mad at one company once, so I just transferred the balance to another bank. within the month I got an offer from the original bank to transfer the balance back to them at 6 percentage points less.
One thing to remember is that everytime you transfer a balance, it does affect your credit score. |

It's better to have the credit cards. you can always do balance transfers between the cards and see if you can get a good deal on transfer rates. Also, it doesn't hurt to just call the card company and see if they can drop your rate or find out what other offers they have. |
