christopher s | Is it better to pay off a credit card in full each month or pay the minimum balance? |
is it better to pay off a credit card in full each month or pay the minimum balance which 1 will help my credit the most |

Hello

Pay off in full each month. It will show that you're current and responsible. It's not only good for your credit records, but also for your pocketbook. If you only pay the minimum balance, you have to pay finance charges which could be as high as 21%. You cannot possibly earn interests anywhere for even 6%. So if you have the money, just pay it off each month and save yourself lots of money. |

My advice to you is to stay clear of credit cards. Only buy what you can afford, and only after you have saved for it. Credit cards are the worst thing ever to be invented. We never had credit cards years ago and never bought anything we coudn't afford, and I think we were a lot happier and more contented than the youth of today. |

It will help your credit to pay off your credit cards each month.
Why would you want to pay their high interest of 19% and above? |

I pay mine off in full every month and have great credit.
But if your end result is to raise your score the quickest? Then you need to charge something never over 30% of your limit, and pay 95% of it back the first month. Do this for 6-months and your score will skyrocket. You will carry a small balance every month and incur some interest, but it will be minimal. |

It's better to pay it off the following statement or month. It does your credit more good than people will admit to. It does get reported to the credit bureaus this way, contrary to someone's answer above.
My grandparents did this for years & have/had the kind of credit history that credit card companies adore & love. My grandma's now gone & my grandfather still has awesome credit, thanks to her. He was able to go into the Chevy dealership & buy a Hemi HD diesel truck on that 0% offer that most of us only drool & dream about. In the year that my grandmother's been gone, he was able to pay off the truck from the saved interest & finance charges.
My grandma told me to do this, charge pay, charge pay & now I wish I'd listened to her. My credit's a mess that I'm taking care of slowly but surely. |

If you are trying to generate a positive credit rating, charge and pay off the balance over 3 months. There is no reason why you have to do the minimum balance, but you do want a balance.
If you always pay off the credit card in full each month, your account is often not even listed to the reporting agencies and that doesn't do you any good. |

It's best to pay off the credit cards in full each month if at all possible because there is no point in paying unnecessary interest. |

If you can pay off each month do it. You will save a ton of money in the long run and your credit score will look better. My mother in-law cannot buy anything because her credit is so bad. She pays the minimum payment each month on 3 different credit cards and she will never be able to pay them off. Her balance only decreases by a few dollars each month. All of the money she is paying is going toward interest.
Credit card interest is the highest anywhere. We just paid off a card that had 12 months with no interest. We paid over the minimum amount each month. If the interest had not been deferred we would have paid over $100 in interest on just a $450 purchase.
Pay them off monthly and stay out of debt as much as possible. This is the best advice my dad ever gave me. |

Pay it off in full, you reduce the amount of interest that you have to pay every month. By paying the minimum, all you're doing is barely paying off the interest. After a while, the balance could get out of hand, being that the minimum is paid. The minimum payment is the SMALLEST amount that can be paid to keep it in good standing. You can never be penalized for paying it off, but if the card gets too out of hand, paying the minimum can hurt you. |

The answer to your question depends, in part, on what your objective is.
First of all, making minimum payments, only, will keep you enslaved to your creditor for up to 28 years, or so, depending on the interest rate and the amount of the minimum payment! Imagine that! Add a charge of $30 for your meal, today, to your existing credit card balance, and make minimum payments for decades! Twenty years from now, you won't even have a clue as to what you had for lunch, today! But you will be getting close to paying it off, by then!
If your objective is to remain debt-free and to never pay interest, you bet, pay it off, every month!
However, credit reporting agencies will not score you optimally, if you pay your debt off, every month. Neither, however, will the credit bureaus give you an optimal score, if your debt is maxed out.
I am aware that the credit bureaus will give you an optimal credit score when your actual credit balance is about 30% of your available credit balance. That scranario indicates to creditors, other things in natural order, that 1) you use credit, 2) you are able to make your monthly payments, when due, and 3) you have a desire and a habit of making your monthly payments, when due.

under contract law you have a right to get an invoice / bill ( not a statement)
you agree to pay all alleged monies owed on supply of requested information below:
a copy of the contract signed by 2 PEOPLE in blue ink.
Full disclosure of all relevant facts on that contract ( terms and conditions are not enough )
Each party must have something to offer / lose in said contract.
a trail of accounting to show they actually had money to loan you ( no digital credits)
After they supply these relevant documents you agree to pay all (Proven outstanding monies )
Firstly : you will never see an invoice Because that would constitute Fraud . the money only came into existence with your signature !
If after 30 days they do not produce documents to prove their claim they will have Tacidly agreed that there is no loss/ or debt to pay !
note: you may have to send this request 2 or 3 times as they will ignore your letter and keep sending statements and then threatening letters but they have no case in LAW.
