It sure is legal...forget to read the fine print in the contract of the card?

YedidNefesh

Sure is.
Read your cardholder's agreement.

Alletery
Yes. When you signed up for the credit card, you agreed to make your payments on time and to abide by the credit card's limit. (It is that super long sheet with all the fine print and sophisticated language that takes a "million years" to read).

cherry
yes it has happend to me they even changed my due date with out notifying me so now i have late charges and over limit fee's

Sparkles
Yes, and I think you need to get out the terms and agreement that your credit card company sent to you. If you are late or go over your limit, they will charge you.

Of course it is. That's how they make their money. Read the fine print, and you'll learn about all the fees that you didn't know about.

NO It just means you did not read the fine print when you took on the credit card it is clearly defined. I suggest you pay your bill on time and pay whatever you are over your limit on the next bill. This is how soooooo many people get into the credit card debt and can't get out because every month they will keep charging you that extra over the limit fee until it is paid and it keeps getting hire every month

Just Me
LOL!!!!

Of course it is......

Flying_james
Late charges & over limit fees, I have never heard of such a thing!!! That is absolutely absurd!! Get an attorney right away & sue those *******. The next thing you know they will want their money back as well!! Nail them to th wall!!

no name
yes they did it to me to they are nothing but a rip off my over the limit fee came from there late charges what a crock!
