Yeah, but they could consider it late regardless.
Some companies have a 3 or 5 day grace period, though. It should be on your bill.
If you're unsure, and you REALLY don't want it to be late (even by one day), call your credit card company and see if they have any immediate payment options. Mine allows automatic bank drafts and also has a western union address, so we can run up to walmart, kroger, or any other place that does western union and pay it, and it posts immediately. |

what do you mean "OK?" it won't get there in time and you will be charged a late payment fee if that's what you mean. you can usually call them and make a payment over the phone, but most companies charge a fee for that, but at least you won't be late. |

not only will it be late - but if you look at your payment stub - you'll probably see something like "must be received by 1pm local time to avoid late fee."

Pay it through internet banking. And then call the company with your payment confirmation number, and to let them know you have paid it. That makes you look good, the payment not late, and everyone is happy :P
Also if your due date falls on a holiday, it actually isn't due until the next business day.

There is no grace period. The postmark doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is when the receive your payment. If you mail it one day before it is due you will almost certainly be late and pay a late fee.
Call them up and make a payment over the phone, they may charge you a fee for it but it is less than a late payment fee.
I haven't mailed a credit card payment in years, I use online bill payments. Fast and free. But do keep in mind that some banks actually charge a fee for same day credit card payments online so you still need to plan ahead. Don't wait till the last day to pay your bills. |

No. If they dont' get it on the due date, it's late. Now depending on your history/relationship with the company, they might not report it, but try paying online just to be safe. |

Yes and no. Some companies have a grace period, some don't. Companies go by when "they" received the payment, not the date you sent it. Most credit card companies have either an option to pay by phone (see the 800 number on the back of your card), or by signing up for an account on their website. Some companies tack on a surcharge for this. |

I wouldn't chance it. Some credit card companies will put a 30 day late on your credit report, even if you're only a few days late.
You shold have a 1-800 number on the back of the card. It wil give an automated message, so you can pay by phone. If there isn't a number on back of the card you can look up the website of the creditor and they should have contact numbers for you there.
I used to be late on payments, just because I forgot to put the payment in the mail on time. I now pay all of my bills by phone. It's easy, they give you a confirmation number and your finished. It's easy and fast. Now, all my bills get paid on time. |

i think if its postmarked on or before the date it might be all right but im not that sure that is right but i send my payments like that and they never hit me w/ any late fees |
