Yes you can. Anyone of the previous sites mentioned should work fine. However, if you read the terms and conditions closely for many of them, you'll find that other companies may be provided with the information.
For instance, freecreditreport.com (hypothetically) would then take the information and sell it to other companies. The end result can mean that you are getting more pre approvals for credit cards in the mail, mortgage offers and phone solicitations.
If you would like to avoid or reduce these side effects, I would recommend that you purchase one or write to the credit bureaus for a copy which you are entitled. |

Yes. There is a new rule for the credit reporting agencies that they have to give one free credit report to its consumer per year.
The 3 major credit reporting agencies are:
Equifax
Experian
TransUnion
You can either write to each one or you can visit their web to get your report; you can save the report if you want or you can print it out. |

each credit firm is required to provide you with a free credit rteport each year if you request it. you can do it online, but be aware they sometimes want you to sign up for additional services you may not want and can not be required to take unlessa you want to. the credit report is still free. go to experion.com for one then you will also be told the names of the other two which i don't recall at trhis time. |
