NO it is not safe. Many "work-at-home" businesses are actually scams, with the purpose of gathering that very information so they can take all your money. If you want to research a company, go online and google it, and see if they 1) have a website, which slightly increases the likelihood that they're legit, but 2) more importantly, make sure they are backed by the Better Business Bureau. You should see somewhere on their website a little seal that says BBB...or you can go to http://www.bbbonline.org Please do not give out your credit card info over the phone to anyone unless you are 100% certain that they are legitimate. You'll be sorry otherwise. |

You're asking for trouble here. One way to find out is to start a checking account and get the card. Drain it down to the minimum and then give it to them. See if they take the bait.Even that is costly and risky. The general rule of thumb is if you've never heard of them, or it's an unsolicited offer, then it's a scam. |

There are few work at home plans. If you take a great company like PrePaid Legal Incorporated and work with them, that's one thing different for network marketing. However, you take a look at most work at home programs, it's a risk. Before you do that consider the fastest growing crime in America is ID Theft. Be careful and Good Luck |
