As long as the security certificates of the site you are buying from show up, and are valid, then you are fine!
Especially if you use paypal to buy because that way the people you buy from never even see all of your information.
But yeah, as long as you are smart and buy from accredited websites, then it is safe!
Never give the card number in e-mails or un-secure ways! |

Yes it is, I do it all the time. Just making sure the lock is on the bottom of the window.
If you want to be even more secure you could always go to www.paypal.com and start a account there. Some websites will let you pay by paypal and not ever exchanging your information with them. |

Yes, only if the site is using Paypal to process the transaction, which is totally safe. Make sure you see their logo, and it should say that your identity/card are protected as well and that it's safe to buy there. There will be a seal. |

It is safe, just make sure that the site does not make you pay outrageous fees and read the fine print |

Most credit cards have guaranties that make sure if someone uses it without authorization you are not liable, Check with your credit card issuer and see if they have the same guarranties. |

In theory it is as safe as a credit card. However, it is more risky. The reason is simple, if you use a credit card and it is stolen (compromised) the credit card company will go after them for the money, giving you a credit while the investagation in ongoing. However, if your bank account is compromised, you will lose the money until the investigation is finished and then, you are responsible for a certain amount. This just happened to a friend of mine and the person took all the money in their bank account and left them negative over 800K. Not a typo...it is a mess. They had to close the acct and they had all sorts of returned check fees because they were overdrawn that amount. |

What's the number and type of credit card and security code and bill to address? I would say no not safe |
|

I would say no because once the money leaves a debit account its gone whereas if you use a credit card you have some more control if it is misused because the bank can stop payment |

It's safe as long as it's a secure website. It will tell you that you're entering a) a secure page, or b) and insecure page. Just make sure you pay attention before you give a site your information. |
