Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.

I will hereby talk from my personal experience.

I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,

a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :

if it helps kindly remember me in your voting!.. cheers!

No credit is better. Even if you have no credit, you can still establish a "non-traditional" credit history. Your utility bills, cell phone bills, and anything else that you pay month by month will help you. Just make sure your pay them on time. I just processed a mortgage loan for a guy who had never had any traditional credit. He now owns a home and still got a pretty good rate. Do no mess your credit up. It is better to have none.

Generally, yes. The way I see it, if you have no credit you can just establish credit for about a year with a credit card. Banks will give you a credit card to start out with. If you have bad credit, it stays on your report for 7 years, even if you pay it off later.

Yes, because you can have someone put you on their credit card as an authorized user ONLY and the next billing cycle you will be reported with the credit history of the card holder that added you. An authorized user is not liable for the money due on the card and can be removed from your credit report if the card holder has financial problems. An authorized user is just autorized to use the card. If you choose to have someone add you as authorized their are 3 things you want to verify first:
1. They have not been late in the last 24 months
2. They are not over 50% of the highest amount ever charged
3. They have had the card for 24 months or more (best at 24 months) Do not have yourself added to any account whereby it is 10 months old or less.

Bad credit is a different animal. Bad credit can follow you around and may not depict your real creditworthiness. If balances are due you would have to pay them, and when you pay off a bad account it brings your credit score down even worse. Because now you have new data posted to your credit report that is still negative regardless if you are paying it off or not.

Hope that helps!

No. They approach you as if they can't trust you.

You have to ask yourself what you hate more. With bad credit, you either face higher interest rates and higher fees with lousy credit company. In addition, those credit offers that tend to flood people with bad credit will take advantage of you and your finances. You will also have a harder time finding loans and other financing options.

With no credit, you have to find a credit company. The process can be cumbersome. There are companies that are more lenient to first time credit customers like Capital One. However, just like a person with bad credit there are lousy companies that take advantage of you and your finances.

Both are bad, but I rather start with nothing and slowly build up. Building or rebuilding credit takes time and patience. It is better to build from a neutral position than a negative one.

Yes I guess so but not much better. You need to establish credit even if all you do is apply for a gas station credit card. Charge your gas every month to that card and then pay balance in full every month. After three or four months, you will have established credit

yes! no credit means they dont have enough info to determine whether u will or wont pay..bad credit gives them the impression that u will not pay..its much easier to build credit than it is to clear up bad credit then start from scratch and try to build good credit on top of that...to put it plainly..right now u are starting from scratch..hope this helps!!

Yes its better, but they still treat you the same as if you have bad credit. Best thing to do is go to the local Friedman's jewelry store a open an account to get your credit started. Of course you have to buy something, tell them you want to open an account. Buy a simple necklace, bracket, for like $30. You will pay like $6 a month or something like that for it. You can also apply for a basic gas store card but they are likely to also so no b/c of lack of credit. Ask a parent or someone with good credit to open a department store card. If they are "if-ey" you could allow them to hold the card for a few month to get your own credit rolling. ~Good Luck~ You also could look for a secured card but its sorta a waste of money, but if it your only option then I think its worth it. You would basically get like a 200 limit and $150 secured. THey would charge that to the card to start with a you would start making payments on it. Kinda sucks but if you must you must.
