Don't do it. Getting college credit cards was the biggest mistake of my life so far. I ran up bills i couldn't pay now my credit sucks. I feel credit card companies prey on 18 year old kids. They should not be allowed on college campuses. Dont get a credit card. If you can't afford it with cash then you don't need it.

Definately! They will be at every corner ready to ruin your credit! My best friend is actually one of the enemies, and knows it! They will get paid anywhere from $.50 to $3.00 per application you fill out and up to $10 if you accept it. My advice is fill out the ap. and when you get the card TRASH IT!!!!!!!!! Chances are you got a T-shirt or free lunch for your filling it out. Take it and RUN!!! Don't fool yourself about being able to pay for the evil chunk of plastic.

yes...but credit cards ruin your credit even if you pay them like your supposed to all small credit cards with a balance decrease your credit score.

Sure, it's the easiest way to get credit cards, but not to get credit.
You get credit by buying things and paying back your bills. Unless you want bad credit of course.
The problem with credit is that people tend to think of it as "free money", it's not, it's a loan. So using credit cards is a bad idea unless you have the actually money to pay it back, or want debt.

Showering you with credit = showering you with debt. Don't do it. You will highly regret this in the long run. I work in loans in a bank and I see people over their heads in debt all the time, and many times it's with credit cards.
