nope sorry. It will stay on there for 7 yrs from the original delinquency date. The creditor reports it every month to the credit reporting agencies and thats why it shows up. If you call your creditor and push them on it sometimes they will agree to remove it from your report. Ask them to send you a letter saying they removed it from your report. Mail that letter (make a copy) to any of the 3 credit reporting agencies and they will remove it immediately |

No, they will not be removed unless they are incorrectly placed in your file. If the delinquencies actually existed, all you can expect in your credit file is a note that they have been paid in full. However, the fact that you were delinquent at one time is part of your credit history, and will remain there for seven years. |

Contact the company that is reporting as a Paid Collection. They may say that they can remove it, they may say they can't. If they say they can't then you can start to dispute it with the credit bureaus which they will have to verify the account information.
Paid Collections remain on your credit report for 7 years from the first date of delinquency. |

Do not fall for these companies such as Lexington Law Firm, they are very expensive, i.e. $60.00/mth or more and it usually will take several months for them to do anything with your file, let alone get the item removed if they can. Don't do it. |

First you need to request that the collection agency notify the credit bureaus that it has been paid. Then you can send each a notice asking them to remove the listing but they probably won't. As a minimum, you want them to report that the judgments have been settled. |

I have had things removed, I just had to notify the credit equifax, actually all 3 companies, then I just faxed them my recipt- but you do have to get a little hard headed with them, otherwise they say they'll take it off-but don't. you have to double check them, it's a pain !!! |

I had to call the card company and request them to remove them. They can be bullheaded but be stern and they will do it. If that doesn't work try daveramsey.com ask him I know he has a way to get the job done. |
