Both Vocational Rehabilitation and Job Services in your state will have "jobs" and they will even help you to a point to get your car going to you can get to a job, but neither have jobs at home. There used to be limited jobs you could get at home like doing typing or bookkeeping but those jobs have now gone overseas. What people do at home are having their own business, they do their own advertising, they do their own business plan and have their own occupational license. If they can't do it by themselves then they have a parent or guardian do it. These days there are jobs you can get online and you apply with the company that owns the website and then you update the website but you will need the schooling for that. There are MLM businesses wherein they provide you a website for a fee and then you advertise and get the buyers and bring them in to buy online and then the orders are placed automatically and then the headquarters clears it thru their credit card and the product is sent from the company's warehouse (so you don't have to send out anything). ...and then there are businesses you can start on your own but that takes four or more years before you start making a profit. These days it's not such a good idea to have a business directly out of your home wherein customers have to come to your home to buy, it's a security problem and a problem because you can't have a commercial facility in a residential area. Sure there are survey jobs and clicking jobs online but not all pay, pay correctly or timely, and aren't dependable. So you figure out what you want to do, and begin. |
