You should probably just use the companys resources for what they are meant to be used for rather than trying to find any possible way to squeeze out every last penny you can into your own pocket. Is the extra few dollars worth losing your job over? |

You should really evaluate how you manage your finances if you are looking into buying cash on credit. This is not an effective means of budgeting.
What you are proposing to to is defraud the company. That is a bit of a HUGE no no and will most likely get you fired. Possibly even charges laid.
You are padding your expense report is fraud, you will get caught. |

That's Drug, or gamblers seeking behavior , and its plain as the hose on your face , essentially what you have done is justify in your mind that its OK to defraud the people providing you the card ,,shame on you . |

you can buy a visa-gift card. its not cash, but you can use it a lot more places than just a store specific gift card. just make sure that it doesnt carry any hidden fees for not using it. |

Sorry I didn't fully read your question or the answers, but to answer your initial question, you can buy coins from the US Mint with a credit card. Promotion with free shipping for buying $1 coins in $250 increments. |

so you are stealing from your company?! Great! |

Buying gift cards for yourself, using your company's credit card, is theft.
And you've already said that you don't want your company to know. So you should already know it's wrong.
The legalistic term is "conversion". |

Well, I don't know how ethical this is, but you could go to the store and find someone who is using cash to buy something and ask them if they would let you put it on your card and they give you the cash. You could offer them a couple of bucks as an incentive. |

What you are doing is illegal. The intention of the company I am sure is that you can by supplies or necessities during a specific time or job.
Not to supplement your income. You are lucky they don't ask for reciepts for your purchases. Why are you complaining about "losing" money to ebay fees when it is stolen money anyway. |

Seems to me like you're speaking of embezzling from the firm/company you're working for. If you can't spend the budgeted funds than just don't...regardless of weather that's going to result in your budget being cut. Being efficient doesn't necessarily mean you'll lose the allocation just because you don't use it. PEACE! |

by stuff at wal-mart then you can return it. I'm not 100% sure if you can get cash back or not though. I think you can get cash back or put it on a wal-mart gift card. Otherwise they will just want to credit the card. |

If it's a discover I know that you can take them to ATMs to get cash and cash back from purchases (Buy a chocolate bar and ask for cash back with it). But if it's not a discover then no not really. Unless you buy those pre-paid AMEX, Visa, or Mastercards. You have to pay a fee, but it'd be worth it not to lose the money. However you probably shouldn't be using your card for non-business purchases, as this can get you fired and possibly legal action against you. |
