Is there a way to get a full credit report for free?
I heard once this is possible once a year. Any leads on where I can get this?
AnnualCreditReport.com is the site set up to get your credit report online from all three credit bureaus. This is the FTC recommended site. You get one free report each year from each bureau. You will have to pay for your credit score.
There are other sites that claim to offer free credit reports and scores but they require you to sign up for their monitoring services. If you don't cancel within the 30 day trial period, you will get charged monthly fees. They can be very difficult to cancel.
Each reporting company is required to send you a copy of your report for FREE if you request it....only one time per year though. It's the law.
