try Capital One. but alot of credit card companies will try to work with bad credit just the intrest wont be that low. if that doesnt work try a secure credit card. |

Try Orchard Bank. I had bad credit about 7 months ago. I paid off all my debt and started again with a secured credit card from these folks. (I'm not their solicitor, just a person who was in your shoes). Look at the disclosure before choosing the right card.
The credit limit will be equivalent to the amount of money you put down as collateral. I put down $300 and that's my credit limit. Most likely, they'll also have an annual fee, which I think is a small cost to having the opportunity to rebuild your credit.
Start small and gain their trust as every month goes by. I do that by paying off my entire balance each month, and don't pay any interest either! (The annual fee has a lot to do with the lost interest). IM me if you have any concerns. Good luck! |

Secured credit card is an option. HOWEVER, watch out for companies that want to give you a $500 credit limit card and then charge about $475 to totally activate the card. This is an actual practice. Carefully add up all of the fees. If you mail an application like this, IT WILL BE ACCEPTED, AND YOU WILL OWE THEM THE MONEY. Even though you haven't purchased anything. |
