Uh.....no. There are all sorts of laws regarding gender discrimination and credit is granted based on one's credit worthiness, not gender! If a credit card company issued "special" cards for women, then men would have every right to scream gender discrimination. Same for women.
Credit worthiness is based on income, ability to pay the debt back, and previous experience paying back debt.
There are no credit cards for women only! Maybe you can get custom designed cards like Capitol One, but that's just how the card looks, not anything important.
This asker may be in India or Sri Lanka where credit laws are very different and arcane compared to US, Canada and European laws. So our answers may not apply where he/she lives.
My answer is based on what I know of the laws in my country. |
