No one is that desperate that they should take a loan out with APR of 63%. (per year remember) That is not an interest rate, that is ursury. Dont do it! |

Are you ******* nuts??? Who are you going to a loan shark in a pool hall?
No one needs a loan at that rate, even the worse credit card doesn't charge even half of that. |

Only out of total despitation should you take such an offer... that's loan sharking! Better reconsider and shop around. |

It depends on the term of the loan - you will probably end up paying alot (and I mean alot!) more. Please don't touch this with a barge pole - its extortionate and I can't believe anything is worth that sort of price... |

you are correct, but only if you pay it back in a year! be careful, credit cards can be useful although if your rating is that bad i think you may already have your share of those |

That's an insane interest rate that may not even be legal. You would be crazy to take the loan. |

That's enormous. You should try the website Zopa where you borrow from other people rather than banks. I'm sure you'll be able to get a much lower rate than that...even with a bad credit history:

Jesus, that's extortionate...please try some other companies before you agree to this..try Ocean finance and other reputable lenders. |

63% isnt high for low value loans eg £2,000, these days.
Banks offer those loans to those with poor credit history cause they are a higher risk, if you need the cash and the repayment is acceptable then take it.
Next time you should be ok for a 9% from a good lender, assuming youve no bad credit and you pay back this loan ok |

Sounds about right.
Look at this consumer site to see if you could do better |
