Debt is a civil matter and you will not get your
collar felt by a bobby so relax.The debtors will
have to find you and then serve you with a summons
for none payment of the debt,could take years or never. |

Probably - our government coudn't organise a piss up in a brewery - they are unlikely to be organised enough to arrest somneone for an unpaid debt - they'd have to arrest half of Britain if that was the case.
There's no room in the jail anyway. |

That all depends, if your debt was for court fines or council tax, non payment of these IS a criminal offence in the UK, and you should expect there to be an arrest warrent issued in your name somewhere, whether they've got enough brains to do 2+2 when you enter the UK is another matter.
If the debt is just loans/CC's etc then don't worry about it. |

look if we can let a known terrorist suspect go to Pakistan with lots of money and a book on treating gun-shot wounds. then let him back in after his training to make gapati flour bombs that dont go off, we can sure as hell let you back in without thinking about it.
unless you absconded after going bankrupt and then taking more borrowings (a criminal offence I think) you are only facing civil proceedings and they are not checked by immigration. |

debt is not a penalty or crime... n then who cares, but conscience.
also nothing to think twice about, unless who you owe finds out that you are back, n he's promised he'd skin you alive if you'd default ! :)
try imagine that!

just because you have left some debt behind dose not mean they will arrest you for it! if your only staying for 5days then i would say you have nothing to worry about. |
