If the bank won't entertain you then Provident or Welcome Finance are personal loan people, they will take just about anybody. Beware, they charge all sorts of arms and legs in interest!! Good luck. |

I'm afraid that if you have bad credit history, the only loans you are going to be able to get are those from people who charge exorbitant interest rates and upfront fees. Don't touch them with a barge pole. You'll find yourself in worse trouble. |

Hi,
Best bet is to firstly try your bank - they will help you to see how much you spending each month and if it possible to reduce any payments you making on loans or credit cards and will be able to tell you if they can help giving you a loan.
If you spend your time now ringing around trying to get a loan, then they will do credit checks and leave footprints on it meaning that when other companies look at your credit report and footprints it looks bad and the more people who do a credit check on you the more it gets worst.
I was like you, wanting a loan and tried loads of places but either was refused or the interest rates were way too high.
Today I went to bank and spoke to manager and have mananged to get one loan which has paid off all my other existing loans and credit cards meaning I make one cheap payment a month and no longer have to worry about paying this and that bill on this and that date.
Speak to bank first to see if they can help, if not then look around but you may be surprised with what bank can do.
Citifinancial is meant to be a good bank to get a loan but be warned as I have heard a few say interest rates are very high!
Another option may be to get a credit card instead!
