So I'm considering getting a loan to pay for a privately sold bike, costing 3,700 registration.
I have a credit score of 690-700, 21 years of age and only make currently 1,200 a month with a job I've been at for 3 months.
My buddy who works in banking says it'll be relatively easy to get a loan from somewhere like BOA, but I can't help but think it'll be very difficult.
Any ideas?

You could try to obtain a loan. Your score is about average but your employment history is very short. Have you tried a local credit union? They tend to have more lax standards. Just walk in and talk to a loan officer. Tell them your situation and see if you meet their criteria for a loan.
Some of the larger banks have a minimum amount you can borrow for something like that. |
