It depends on your favorite number. If you like 4 more, go with the Visa (Visa cards start with "4"). If you like 5 more, go with a Mastercard (for the same reason). But really, there aren't any differences other than that. They are both universally accepted (pretty much) and offer different levels of credit limits and interest rates depending on your credit ;) |

It makes very little difference which card scheme you go with, both are universally accepted. What does make a difference is the card issuer (bank) and type of card as that will affect your rate of interest, minimum repayment amounts, and any perks (like cash-back, purchase protection and loyalty points). |

None, both charge huge interest, debit card better, if credit must have try Discover Card, interest is lower. Good luck. |

They are virtually same but different company. Some card companies prefer one over the other and base their rewards on that. You can look at and compare some cards with visa and mastercard from different card companies at the site below. You'll get the idea about what I'm saying. Just remember to apply for a card that you qualify for. |
