A lot of posts here give unbelievably bad advice. Missing a credit card payment (even if it's late, it's still counted as 'missed') WILL have an adverse effect on your credit rating. Especially nowadays. Given that tomorrow is the date by which the payment is due and is also a bank holiday, you've already missed it, with no way of getting it there on time.
Ring your credit card company and explain the situation. Also make sure that a note has been put on your file that you've rung, and the date on which the payment is expected. If it's only a few days late, and you've previously had no late fees or missed payments, the credit card company will usually not charge a late fee, as a goodwill gesture. Also, it should not be marked as a 'late payment' at the credit reference agency under these circumstance, but again it would be wise to check. |

Just give your credit card company a ring and explain thje situation to them.
They maybe lenient and accept your offer.
If not, even if you payed it in full when you get paid, you will incurr a penalty charge for late payment on your next statement. |

It will not affect your credit rating because companies do not report until you are 30 days late. |

Unless you make the minimum payment you will incur a late payment fee. How about contacting your credit card company and ask if you can move the payment date to the 28th of the month to coincide with your salary payment? |

No, not really. As long as you can make at least the minimum on time, then it won't be reported late to the credit bureaus. You may have a bit of interest to pay but it won't affect your credit. Now, if you can't afford the minimum, then u might have a problem. |

No it won't effect you credit. It needs to be 30+ days late to be a negative. But you will get hit with a late fee. |
