I went to head out last night and went to the ATM to get money out, knowing I had at least £60 in my account. It wouldnt let me take it out, said I had insufficent funds. So, I checked my balance and I have the grand total of 23p in my account!!! Eh?! I then printed out a ministatement to see exactly were this money went to. The £60 had been taken out of my account on Tuesday past at an ATM machine in a town ten minutes away from me. But, I was in Belfast on Tuesday, over an hour away, so it sure as hell wasn't me who took it out! I'd already taken out my limit for the day as well. I actually had a problem a week ago as well were I was short roughly £100 in my account, should have had around £250 but only had £150ish. Printed out a statement- £100 from the ATM machine that my £60 had disappeared from had been taken out. I WAS in the town that this money disappeared from that day, but I dont recall taking any money out, neither does my mother. What can I do about this?

To clarify- I haven't used this machine since the £100 went missing and I don't think I even used it then. |

Phone the bank right away, some one must have cloned your card. When did you use it prior to the first dodgy withdrawl?? |

Contact your bank IMMEDIATELY! It's very likely that your card has been duplicated, either by a dodgy ATM machine or a dishonest shop assistant. This is a growing problem world-wide. You need to move quickly on this as most banks only allow a very short period of time for you to notify them once you notice an error or fraudulent activity. |

check with customer service desk at your Bank; if you don't get any satisfaction speak with the manager. It happen to my husband before we spoke with our bank manager and got amazing responses. with in 24hours. |

Go talk to your bank and show them your bank statement. They should be able to help you. Credit/Debit card theft is not uncommon now. My bank has asked me to replace my cards twice now just as a precaution.
You could have been at a restaurant and an employee could have scanned your card, its a simple as that.

does anyone know your number of your card and do u think your card has been cloned go to the bank and ask for your card to be stopped and a new card and number be given to u take some money out at the same time because u wil hav to wait a few days for card |

If you have money talking out of the ATM machine and it's not you. You can go to your bank a dispute this. Every time you use a ATM machine a picture is taken of you or whoever is using the ATM. I would also go to the bank and get a detailed report on your transaction.

You need to call or go to your bank and report and it and they'll make you fill in a form and investigate it...you'll probably get your money back but keep hassling them till you get an answer either way... |

Go to the bank as soon as possible, have them cancel the card and give you a new one with a new number and pin. That will stop the problem immediately. Don't deposit any more money in that account until this is done. Talk to them about recouperating the money. This is the biggest problem with ATM, people can clone your card and wipe out your account. |

Inform the bank. Cancel your card. Hopefully you can get a refund. This sort of theft has become increasingly common since banks moved all their call centres abroad, all the Pakis steal your details and sell them on to anyone willing to buy. |

call your bank it may be something simple like you tried to take out money and then you cancelled it before you got the money but you bank still shows this as a withdrawal and it would be corrected after the 7days this happened to me |
