Today he recived a parking ticket from a Euro car parks inspector on behalf of tescos, its a £50 fine. He has on means to pay the fine as he is un-employed, does him been bankrupt make any diffrence or is he still expected to pay it?

do ppl have to be so rude on here?? this is a serious problem. the fine is a full weeks money, what are we meant to live on? we have a young daughter. dnt bother answering if ur gonna be rude |

Fines are still required to be paid. However, a payment plan can be worked out so as not to cause undue hardship. You will need to contact the court/judge and inquire about it. |

being bankcrupt does not make him above the law, he has to pay but if he approaches company they may let him pay off in instalments |

Yes he is expected to pay his fines by the due date. He should be able to pay it when he finds a job. It may be higher as they may add late fees. |

I think you'd better pay it off quickly before the price goes up anymore. But if you look at it from an outsiders point of view, it seems like its ok for a person to park anywhere without paying fines because they're bankrupt - it isn't fair on anyone else.
Its a good job you don't have a joint bank account, you're going to have to lend him a hand, and try to be sensitive about it. My father in law went bankrupt a few years ago and he's still taking anti-depresents. |

his got to pay it. Just cause his bankrupt and unemployed doesn't make him exempt. If that was the case no1 would work and run up a stack of bills, that they couldn't pay. |
