I have never had a payday loan but from what i have read they auto deduct your payments as part of your agreement from your checking account??? so you can't even decide if you want to pay them or not basicly. I am not saying it is ever a good idea to not pay a creditor so do not misunderstand what im going to say next BUT if you can't afford to get food and pay utilities the important things you need to live...close the checking account payday loans draws from and take your money to another account. You need to eat!! Now they are going to charge you outragious fees since you will be bouncing payments but...they already have you stuck now...so scr@w them and make sure you have the important stuff like food!!! Then I would get a part time job or something extra to do and get money and pay them!! But pay as much as you can but on your terms!!! instead of having them steal money you need that month to buy food and have electric!! |

you might have to get a casual job and ring the company whom you have the loans with and organise a regular direct debit to come out, that way you won't see it in your pay so you won't miss it, $1500.00 is not that much, don't get a bank loan to pay it just work out a better budget, do overtime, etc til it's paid off |

$1500 is about 75% of your take-home pay in a month.
If you cannot pay for food and rent....that takes priority over any debt.
Call them up, and tell them you need to make a payment arragement and get it in writing.
Payday loans are legal loan-sharks...remember that. |

The problem is you are in the payday loan trap. It's an endless cycle of renewing their right to charge you unGodly interest. The only way to get out of this trap is to stop renewing that crazy thing.
Think you can't afford to do this? You can't afford not to. Work an extra job for a few weeks, two extra jobs for a few weeks, whatever you have to do. But get out. |

move into a cheaper place
cancel unnecicary things like cable
spend a maximum of $100/week on food.
What do you do? you should be contributing financially also.
$2000/month isnt good money. In my province that's what someone working full time for minimum wage makes. |

Getting more loans isn't going to help unless you can limit the fees and interest. These pay day loan advances are the biggest scam going. Pay as much as you can each week / month until you pay them off. If you feel that you are being taken advantage of call your state's Better Business Bureau and report them or get advise in dealing with them. |

The very first thing the both of you need to do is to develop a budget. There are lots of free budget planners on the net that are useful. When you know what you need to live, look to get all your loans consolidated into one loan. If the banks won't help find a the lowerst interest rate you can find, take the consolidated loan over the longest period you can but be prepared to pay it off early. Don't panic, most lenders are happy to talk to you if things get tight. No more loans and no more credi and no more living above your means, if you can't pay for it out of your budget, you don't get it. |

Start getting smaller loans. Even if you borrow $50 less each time, you will get to a point where you won't have to keep borrowing. |
