Send some money and they won't take it. Cut up the credit cards and get another job to pay off debt. |

How far behind are you? Lenders normally do not start repossession proceeding's until you are at least 2.5 months behind.
Have you called the lender yet and explained your intent yet.
The last thing the lender wants is their car back. Call them and work out a pay plan to get caught back up. |

You will have to hide the car until you have the money to get caught up on your payments. |

Call your loan company right now. Before we paid off our car, and my husband was in school (last year) money got really tight and we wern't able to make our payment. I called Chase (our lender) and like most auto loan companies they were able to give us a break for two months and simply move those two payments to the end of our loan. So we may have ended up paying a little more interest, but who really cares. So call your loan company and don't stress. They ALWAYS will work with you as long as you call them and let them know what is going on. |

Talk to the lender and see if they will work with you. Ask them if you can do a deferment. Depending on how far behind you are, they may be able to put you on a repayment plan. If push comes to shove and they wont work with you, try to get a small loan. Whatever you do always stay in contact with the lender. They will be willing to help you more if you keep contact with them and tell them your situation. Communication is the key. Good Luck! |

Talk to the lender and try to negotiate a new payment plan. If that doesn't work you'll have to avoid the repo-man by hiding the vehicle. The paranoia will destroy your enjoyment of the vehicle, so try to renegotiate. |

This one is easy...talk to the lender!
They don't want the car, so they will work with you to get through your rough patch. However, this doesn't fix the problems that put you in this problem in the first place, so you might want to take a look at why you don't have the money and see what you can do to shore up a budget.
Because you haven't told me anything about why you can't make the payment, I'm making a big leap with that prior statement...so please take it as a guess and not a blanket statement.
Good Luck! |

The only thing that you can do is to PAY THE BILL. They will repossess his car if payment is not made. |

Pay for it as soon as possible borrow money from a family member if possible.Usually they wont care what kind of position you are in they will still take it away even if you say you are going to pay for it soon. keep it somewhere else until you can pay for it. |

Make sure you make the payment. Find the money somehow. Get another job if you have to...do whatever it takes. By doing nothing you might as well kiss the car good bye. After so many missed payments they will come get it. |

Park it far away from your home and work, preferably in a garage. I've had friends actually rent a garage near their house, just so they could avoid the towing companies.
Work and home are the two spot where they get you most. Sometimes they follow you as you walk to the car, so you’ve got to keep your head on a swivel.
Once a friend actually kept the car for over a year, and the towing companies actually got tired of scouting him. Every time they scout you and miss they loose money. |

Actually this was me last month! I agree with calling your finance company. They let me write a post dated check for the next week when I was getting paid again and then took the money from my account. They let me defer the next months payment to the end of the loan. A few weeks later they actually let me pay less than what they were asking for in the first place so that even saved me a few hundred bucks! Just try to work out something. I try to make my own plan and usually they will compromise. |
