Yes they can take your car and your house. They cannot garnish your wages or bank account without a court settlement (not likely). |

If you don't pay your credit cards you will just get late fees out the *** until you do (believe me, I've done that before)... if you don't pay your car, depending on who it is financed through, they will send a repo company after you (usually 2-3 months of missed payments), if you don't pay your house payments, the bank will take your house. I don't think the bank will take your house if you can't make car or credit card payments. If collectors for the car or credit card call, explain the situation, although there will be fees involved, they will set up a payment plan for you usually. |

Yes, if you don't make payments on the car they will repossess it, auction it for whatever they can get, and then you still owe the balance that is left after it's sold plus any other fees.
With the credit card, they would sell it off to a collection agency and possibly garnish your wages, but they would definatly hound you day and night and shoot your credit score to hell. |
