No. It depends on the seller. Look at the auction for more details. While many established sellers like using services like Paypal or Bidpay for convenience, many also will allow personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, and even cash! The problem with paying for anything without a credit card, however, is that it will take longer to receive your item. If that does not matter to you, than it's all good.
I've bought/sold on eBay for over 8 years and have never had a problem with lost mail or payments... |

It's up to the seller if they will accept money orders and personal checks,also.Paypal is the safest way,though,in case you get a bad seller it's easier to get a refund.
But NEVER use Western Union!Even if the seller asks you to!It is not a safe way to pay! |

No, you can use Pay Pal. When you set up Pay Pal you can use your bank account instead of using high interest credit cards.
Also using Pay Pal is the best way to protect yourself and your money! |

No-You can often times pay with Personal Check or Money Order/Cashier's Check. Or if you have a debit card, you can use paypal and it will come directly out of your account instead of on your credit card. |

No, it depends on the seller. I use paypal which deducts/deposits it from/into my checking account. But some people offer more options like personal checks and money orders but it takes so much longer because you have to send it by mail and checks have to clear first. |

NO, out of the several times I have bought items on Ebay, I have ALWAYS sent a money order. Just tell that to the buyer and ask for their address. |

It depends on what the seller supports. They can support money order, cashier check, and PayPal. Just scroll down to the shipping and handling and payment method "rectangle" and it will say what the seller supports. |

Using Paypal is not the safest way to pay. I used to have a store on eBay and Paypal tried to say a charge on my account was done by me and it wasn't. At first they said someone hacked into my account, then they called me a liar and said it originated from my house. I had to close down my Paypal account; good thing it was only for $45 or they would have sued me for a charge that wasn't mine! Paypal doesn't protect you al all, beware! |
