I would say an 8. What you can do to improve it:

1. Pay all bills on time
2. Keep credit card balances at or below 30% of the available credit
3. Don't apply for unecessary credit
4. Don't close older unused accounts, start using lightly
5. Reqest for line increases regularly on your credit cards(every 6 mos)

710---I used to have 550 about 6 years ago--after my divorce. I made sure to budget and buy less and pay more on my bills. My x wife and I sold our house and with my winnings, I paid off all of my cards and my car---I then only stuck to 2 cards--Chase, and Bank of America. My fico went up slowly but surly----just budget and make sure not to over spend.

I'd say a high 7 perhaps even an 8.

Anything over 720 is considered "A" credit. You qualify for the best interest rates possible.

Pay all your bills on time, own a home, keep the balance on your credit cards less than 1/3 of your total available credit.

Try having a score of 608 :-( lol

Darn I wish I could go back in time!

rick
You wouldn't have a problem getting a loan or buying a house in most cases that score is awesome

you have A credit. I really wouldnt spend too much time worrying about it! Pay your bills on time, dont max out your credit cards, and continue doing whatever it is you have done so far! Sounds like you are doing an excellent job.
