Your credit affects many things... interest rates, how much you pay for insurance, rental applications, job applications... and the list of items that credit has a direct effect on grows all the time.

You will receive a lot of SPAM and junk mail - credit card companies will be after you all the time!
When you buy a car you will get 0-down and a very low APR (below 7%)
If you buy a house you could get a lower mortgage rate and eventually 0-down.
You are not going to have any problems applying for a cell phone, rental apartment or anything that requires credit check..
But also if you have a credit score of 865 and you are not making more than $250k a year - you have some inefficiencies... You are not using the available credit in an optimal way... In this case - go to the bank, get a secured loan for 3.99% and put it in a CD for 4.99% make some money...
Have fun!

Your interest rates will be higher. You need to get your score as high as 865.

That is a GREAT credit score, try not to hurt it by applying alot of places for credit, the adventages of that kind of score is endless.
You can have GREAT rates on mortgages, and even better ones on cars. Sometimes you can get a car with 0% interest. trust me, keep that score and you will have alot of power in the credit world.

You don't need a credit card but keep up the good work, it will be beneficial if you want a mortgage or a very big important ticket item.
