well heres my problem, i have sold a few things on ebay and ive withdrawed the money into my account.For the first day it said pending and in the second day it said complete, although they say this usually takes 5to 7 days it says complete ? so my question is: IS THIS NORMAL ?? It does normally take 5 days to go into your account, but don't worry it will go into your bank on the 5th day!
I use PayPal on a regular basis, and have done a number of transfers, and it always takes 5 days (working days mind you, the weekend doesn't count).
It says complete in Paypal because the money has "left" your account, and is currently being processed through the banking system. It doesn't mean that the payment should be in your bank when it changes to complete, that will take a couple of days more. |

Relax, mate - it takes anything up to 7 working days. PayPal is sloooooooooow. You know how the PayPal site claims that your bank transfer is 'instant' when you pay for something directly from your account? My 'instant' payments through them take anything up to 5 working days. Do not panic. |

Hi there, I have had problems with PayPal customer service in the past but I've never had a problem with money being deposited so I think you'll be ok.
From what you said, it sounds normal. Unless you entered your banking information wrong (which you can fix), I suspect you'll have your deposit soon. My fingers are crossed for you! |

My problem is that whatever i sell on e-bay, i end up spending the money on something else.
Saying that, I have spoken to Paypal on the phone a few times now and they are really helpful.
If the money is not in your account by the time they have specified just call them. Keep in mind they talking working days probably so don't necessarily count Saturday and Sunday. |

It ALWAYS takes an age to go into your bank account. It states 5-7 days but it actually means "working days" so it can be longer if it crosses over the weekend. It will go in though, eventually. |

Hello, Paypal are no different to any other money organisation, with the exception, you do not get any of the decent protection afforded by other bankers, as normal customer rights. They are owned by paypal and for some unknown reason, if you believe it , they seem not to have to comply with normal U.K. rules. If there is a problem it will usually get sorted out, eventually, I gave up on them ages ago, and I have over 500 feedback at 100%, better off with a cheque, postal order, or plain old cash on collection, NO fees no problems. no scammers. |

its fine!! it can take up to 9 working days. depending on wat bank you have. but that is normal just keep checking your bank and if it is not in the bank in 9 working days phone paypal and ask them. |

I would keep checking your bank account each day if by the 7th day you have not received it then I would contact Paypal and find out where the money was sent to. You may need to verify that they have all the correct banking information. |

When they 5 to 7 days they mean 5 - 7 WORKING days. so say it was paid in on Monday then it won't actually reach your account until the following week ,Wednesday/Thursday. Hope this helps. Happy ebay-ing |

Don't worry. Pay Pal have completed the transaction, but a bit like a cheque it takes a few days to clear into your bank account. It's quite normal. Check your bank account in a few days to make sure and don't worry. Hope this eases your mind. xx |

You should have anything to worry about. It may have just been processed faster. If your worried, just make sure to check your bank account and see how much was withdrawn? If the amount was under what you were selling it for, then there is an issue and you need to handle that quikly |

Yep, that sounds about right. You could email paypal if you feel it doesnt look right, but it has taken up to 7-9days for me.
