I agree that you should be willing to pay for return postage on these items. Why should the buyer be out the cost of your mistake? Customer satisfaction is important on both ebay and paypal. I don't know how much business you do or are planning on doing, but I think you should just take the loss and pay return postage. GOOD LUCK |

Soprry, but the error is yours and you should pay the costs of posting goods back to you as you did not supply what the buyer ordered. |

If its your fault the wrong item went to the wrong buyer then you need to offer a full refund of item plus the cost for them to be sent back to you, its not the buyers fault that YOU sent the wrong item so they should not be left out of pocket. double check everything in future to make sure as I do, and put it down to a costly lesson. its either that or accept the bad feedback for future buyers to see and have ebay/paypal take the money from your account and settle the matter.. |

This was your mistake and so a lesson learnt the hard way you will have to pay the return postage. Just think how you would feel if you were the buyer! |

I'm afraid you're going to lose out on this one. It was your mistake - you can't expect the buyer to pay to return them, when the item wasn't what they bought in the first place! |

It's best to refund the return postage, i always do even when it cost 15 pounds to post cos it keeps your feedback clean and that may pay dividends later on with future sales. |

There are no hard rules, but to be honest, the error was yours and as such, I think its right for her to expect a full refund including the postage. She didn't ask for the wrong jeans and so she should not be put out of pocket due to your error. I sell a lot of items on ebay and thats what I would do. Its different if she was sent the correct item and she just changed her mind. Then she should pay for postage. But that didn't happen. Its the same when you buy from a shop online - they usually refund postage if they made a mistake. |

You can chat LIVE with someone that can help you with your EBay needs. Go to www.eBay.com and click on the blue "Live help" link on the top right side. It has always worked for me. They can also credit your ebay account if needed for certain things. |

"Why dont you ask in the ebay chat rooms, their are ways round it."
here is the answer you will get on the boards:
you screwed up, you need to do a FULL REFUND and pay for the return shipping .
plain and simple.
you WILL lose the dispute. |

If it's your mistake - accept it and don't do it again - if the sale was genuine and the buyer just changed their mind then post would be paid by them BUT as it was your mistake - it's really down to you. |

Why dont you ask in the ebay chat rooms, their are ways round it. but if your not carefull you will end up paying transfer fees to paypal ontop of the extra postage |

In this case it is best to agree to pay the postage once the buyer has sent it back |

if they want to send them back it is at their own expenses otherwise they keep the item that they have received
or you could say you will only refund the item cost and pay for the return |
