this sounds like a SCAM, because surely someone with MY statements and Documents could get a Loan or Credit Card in my Details???

Contact Paypal direct, not by using info from the contact made to you.
Phone them or get their website through google and check to see if they contacted you...sounds like you should be carefull.
If you were contacted by E-mail...links to paypal may be bogus, that is why you have to contact them directly. |

I think you are right not to send any documents. Pay Pal should be able to confirm via your bank account. It might be that your credit card name does not correspond to the address of the account holder. |

do not do it, my sister got her paypal account hacked into and they had her card details, they wouldnt ask you for this, try calling paypal direct.

make sure it's paypal the site starts with just www.paypal.com instead of www.stuff.paypal.com
I have verified info with them before but I hate paypal more then anything I lost 20K and there is nothing I can do because of their stupid "agreement" *** paypal! |

sounds dodgy...close the account and open another later...if you send your documents even more stuff for them to use to abuse your identity and bank accounts...be careful... |

Its not a scam - but you do need to telephone them via the number on their webpage found via your pp account and not from some number sent in an email. Call them in the first instance. |
