well someone's sent you a payment for a product that maybe you sold them?...so if you want your money from them, accept it... no money will be put into your account before you confirm it for security perposes.. |

Accept the payment and the money will then be available in your Paypal account. You can then use this money to purchase something through Paypal or you can transfer it into your bank account. |

Was this for an eBay auction? Was it a direct sale? Was it sold through some other online sale/auction?
eBay is directly affiliated with PayPal, which allows their transactions to be streamlined. I have seen this if you are not operating through a PayPal recognized sales system it will give you the option to accept or deny payment on the grounds that once you take the money, you've accepted what that person paid. Now is the chance you have to dispute payment issues, if the buyer did not transfer adequate funds you cannot deny the payment and bring this issue to the person.
Other PayPal issues cannot be addressed through PayPal help. |

There would be only two reason why it shows unclaimed. Reason number one is possibly that your email address the payment was sent to is not confirmed. You simply need to send out another confirmation email and click the link in the email. Reason number two would be that you have a personal account and someone sent you a payment funded by a credit/debit card. Business and premier accounts are the only accounts that can accept credit/debit card funded transactions. By accepting the payment you will be upgrading your account to a premier or business account. The fee for accepting transactions from this point on would be 2.9% +$.30. If you deny the payment it is simply refunded back to the sender. |

sometimes these payments are made from visa cards etc,if you dont have a business account this maybe why it is asking if you want to accept as you are only allowed to accept payments like this twice on a normal standard account. |
