Probably a phishing expedition by a scammer trying to look like paypal. Don't click on any links in it. Forward it to spoof@paypal.com to report it as spoof email. Or at least delete it and ignore it. |

It's a scam. I've had a number of them in the past and they are very convincing.
E-mail it spoof@paypal.com. |

This is a Phishing scam. Go to Pay Pal's REAL site- NOT the one listed in the e-mail. Pay pal has a way for you to forward the e-mail to them so that they can trace it and hopefully catch/shut down this particular scam. DO NOT and I repeat- do not follow any links in this e-mail and do not give them any information whatsoever. |

Delete it and forget it - it's a scam to try and collect your personal details for fraudulent use - do not click on any links in the e-mail, this applies even if you do have an account with whichever company is named (not always PayPal)
GET MORE INTERNET WISE - or you will be in real trouble

notify paypal immediately....its a scam, they must be informed so that necessary steps will be taken to ensure the security of your account. I worked in a bank before and have had issues regarding money debited from accounts of fraudulent nature. Notify paypal, and check evry now and then your accounts to make sure everything is as it should be.
Follow everyones advise, never follow on a link (any) if you are unsure where it came from...

dont do anything with it at all. Delete it. It's an attempt to steal information on someone who does have an account. I do have an account with pay pal, and received one of those emails. I checked the address, and surprise... it led me to a page mimiking Pay Pal. I reported them. |

I would speak to paypal directly as it sounds a bit suspicious. |

it isn't real, they want you to click on the link, and
put in your information so they can steal it.
Just delete it. |

Do not do anything. Just delete the email.
This email did not come from paypal but from someone else that is trying to get you to log on to a false paypal site to steal your username and password.
So, just ignore it and delete the email.
I get tens of these emails per month.
It is called phishing.... Be aware... |

Sounds a bit suspect.
Send it to PayPal - not pon any of the emails return links.
Just forward it to customer care and voice your concerns as you have here. |
