Read your contract and respond to them with an email. Don't panic. |

Do they have your checking account or credit card numbers? If they do, cancel and get new ones I guess; only thing I can suggest.

Their site says there's a 30 day money back guarantee. So if it's been less than 30 days, contact them and ask for a full refund.
If it's been more than 30 days, go ahead and cancel anyway. You'll probably be charged for the second month. But at least you'll get it to stop.
Here's the address of their Contact Us page:
http://www.citymax.com/host/pageWriter/contactus.htm
Contact their sales staff and ask for a refund.
If you got them to register a domain name, you probably won't be able to keep it. Always register a domain name yourself - that way you're the owner of record.
You'll be ok, just get them to give you a refund or cancel. |

on the net most of the time if not all, free trial will require credit card information. but i don't understand how could you be screwed. why did you sign up in the first place when they asked for your credit card information. free trial and money back guarantee is a different thing. sometime web company try to fool people with this term. got to be careful next time. these company will not learn any lesson if a lot of us keep making mistake on the net all the time. only when they find it hard to attract customer using deceiving methods they will give transparent services. |

If you signed up read their contract clause to see if there is an escape clause. If there is no escape clause call their customer service to see if they can opt you out, out of good will. If they don't let you off the hook, negotiate to see if you can quit after certain amount of months.
If you don't pay them that is a violation of the contract law and they might proceed with the judement and subsequetly send your accoun to a collection agency and thus ruin your credit.
Read the contract as some contract laws have a cooling off period (time window to change your mind).
Good luck |
