Your question doesn't make any sense. What I can gather is that you've loaned someone some money and taken them to court, and now they are claiming that they don't owe you this amount, but you actually owe them.
My first thought is - do you have some sort of documentation stating that this money is owed to you? Like a note or letter stating this money was borrowed with a promise to return payment? If not, your case doesn't have much merit.
As for the response this person is giving, when someone responds to court documents they really can say whatever they want, the problem is that they have to defend their position in court. In other words, if this person doesn't have any documentation either, they will end up looking like a fool to the judge, which might have the judge rule in your favor.
As for him dying without having this money returned, well I've never heard of anyone dying from lack of money, so I'm sure he's blowing smoke. Last time I checked, you need air, food and water to live, not money. |

Only a guy would say that, don't fall for that.
He has to have some kind of paper to prove you owe him. I would not even worry. Also, if he didn't file an accual counter-suit legal paper, i wouldn't worry about it. Most people just counter-suit people just so they are not going ito court empty handed.
Go in, prove your case with some kind of document that you have and your already one step ahead of him, he will mostlikely have nothing.
If i were you i would laugh it off, don't lose no sleep over it. The guy is trying to scare you. You'll win don't worry. Your suing him so he needs more proof then you do, most judges see right through people like him. |

Why are you troubled?
You have given some money to somebody as loans. You have got a right to demand repayments. If you do not get your money back you are free to file a legal case ( you need documents and proofs). Once this is done, you need to wait for the case to be settled by competant authority. If you are correct , you will get back your money for sure.
Don't pay much attention to whatever the other party is telling you. He/She may be trying to put you under mental pressure so that you may abandon the recovery process of your money. Ofcourese it adds to stress to you but be calm and quiet and everything will be alright.
Please get into touch with your lawyer / attorney as early as possible and explain this new situation / development to lawyer.

This is just a ploy on the part of this guy to get you to back off. And how is he going to die? Attempt suicide? He will be sent to jail if he is in India? Attempting suicide is a punishable offence in India. So dont get worried about these claims. Keep on with your case if the amount you loaned is very high. Your lawyer will of course be the best person to help you with this.
Also it seems that you did not have a written agreement with this guy. So learn from this and in future do not lend money to anyone without a signed legal document. |

If there was a written agreement between you and the person who borrowed money from you, you can drag him to court and put it as a proof to get your money back with the help of law. But if you had lent the money without making any written agreement with him, which seems to be the case here to me, it will be difficult for u to get the money back. You can try to file a suit against him still and put some cogent witnesses to testify the case in favor of you.
