If you google prepaid credit cards , the which prepaid site comes up click on it and look to the left and click on the comparison table it will tell you all the ins and outs of all the different ones avaliable and makes it easier for you to decide.

Im assuming you mean a secured credit card. A prepaid card is used up once the money you put into it is gone. Secured cards are good the limit is set by the amount of the deposit you make. Alot of them will give your deposit back or pay interest on it if you keep up on payments with them The best benefits are often at local banks that you do alot of business with. If you want a website then usbank and bank of america have the best secured credit cards in my estimation. Best of luck. |

A prepaid credit card is where you pay money onto the card to shop online or on the high street.
I use a 3v prepaid credit card for internet shopping and it works very well.
You top it up at a PayZone with a minimum of £20. This is free. They then email/text/you ring for the security code and expiry date. Simple. The card is free and you can use a false name.
The other one is a gold card. This one costs £9.95 and can be topped up for instant credit at any Money Shop or at the Post Office( takes 24 hours before you can spend).
There are no credit checks for these cards because you are not getting credit. They are great for shopping online or paying for car hire, hotels etc. |

Most banks are reluctant to issue them to new customers. If you have been with the same bank for some time, ask them for a Visa Debit card. You use your own money from your own savings account. You use it just like a credit card (ie sign for purchases etc), and the bank fees are way way lower than normal eftpos transactions. You can also use it to make purchases by phone or internet. |

I'm not sure which is best because I haven't tried them all but the one offered here http://easyprepaidvisa.com is nice. They offer free $0 activation and no minimum balance. Also it's really easy to fund the card online by direct deposit or by moneygram or by purchasing a MoneyPak at a GreenDot retail locations near you, including Walmart, CVS/pharmacy, Walgreens, Kroger, etc. |
