Do not go anywhere near a loan shark they are parasites living off the misery of the needy. Try selling something....got any books? stick them on Amazon and sell them...got a garage full of crap...go to a car boot and get rid it will amaze you what people will buy. Ask friends and family...do anything but don't go to the loan sharks as you could end up getting your legs broken or worse if you default. I wish I could bale you out myself but I don't have a spare bean myself. Hope all works out for you

Queen.P.
Have you tried speaking to your bank and seeing if they will just increase your overdraft for a short while?
I wouldn't go anywhere near a loan shark! The amount you will be paying back will be ridiculous.

Limahl
Yeah, don't do it!

Presumably you're not currently working if you can't get a payday loan? Or don't have a card to pay them back?

You really mustn't consider going to an unlicensed lender (loan shark). These people will do everything they can to trap you in a cycle of very high interest debt, and they don't exactly go through the "normal channels" to get their money back. Methods often include threats, violence and intimidation. This is why loan sharking is completely illegal.

Provident Personal Credit http://redo.me.uk/provident will lend money to people with bad credit legally, though the APR is higher than you'd get from a bank.

If the reason you can't get credit at the moment is that you're in trouble with it already, then stop. Getting more indebted is rarely the answer. Your local citizen's advice bureau offers completely free advice - make use of it.

you do not want to do it

£400 to a loan shark wil work out to about £1000.00 if they want it to end there

if you really need this money i would try welcome fiance they are a company that deals with bad credit but charge large APR

Lily B Talus
..interest would be £600 on that i.e. pay £1000 for a £400 loan, so ...it's not worth it.

Try looking for your local credit union. £1 to join, save with them for 8 weeks, you can then borrow 3 times what you have saved.

Andrew H, Go to where you bank and discuss a payday loan loan with them. In emergencies, sometimes the bank is more understanding than you might think they are.

Sometimes the Salvation Army will pull through as well,if you have one in your area.

Take time to look into your community for support, but some people don't have all the options that come with an understanding community. http://www.americaschoicetoday.com/Payday-Loan.html

Wow, I was going to say Payday loans which are usually very "sharky" but extremely easy to get.

So, if you can't get a payday loan...mmm...

Yep, check here for a broker, they usually put you in contact with someone local to you:

He might do miracle..but I would also be extremely careful...and expect to pay a huge price...so avoid if you can.

If you are thinking about getting a loan, then you should know about the basics before you get started. If you understand the basic dos and don’ts of loans, then you will be better equipped to find the best loan for your needs. Whatever type of loan you are applying for, you should follow these basic rules to help you find the best deal when searching for a loan, it pays to do your research. Look for as many suitable lenders as you can, so that you can find the very best deal. There are many online pages that allow you to compare loan rates from a variety of lenders. As well as looking online, check out your high street banks and mortgage lenders for deals too. You may find the loan that you need here,

http://www.worldbestloans.com/

If possible, try and avoid taking out secured loans. If the amount you need to borrow is small or you have good enough credit to borrow without collateral, then do so. Although unsecured loans have higher rates, they are less risky because your home will not be at risk if you cannot make the payments.Try and take a loan out over the shortest period you can afford. Taking loans out over 10 years or more can be risky, and you cannot be sure what your financial situation will be at that time.
