Cause they could pin point you with the cameras in the self check outs and would have gotten to u sooner or later.

Good for you. Similar thing happened to me at my bank - They handed me a 50 & a 20 instead of two 20s. I didn't even count, and they were closed by the time I noticed.
I contacted the manager and told them to take it out of my account (I wasn't going to drive back there) they said just to keep it. |

I would give it back, my mom raised me to have good morals. I once walked out with a pair of sun glasses on my head that i forgot about, i went back in to pay for them though i got out with them. i can't do that. |

I would have stayed there and asked for clerk to come shut down the machine.
Simple fact is if you steal $10 you will have to pay back $30.

No questions asked, I would have kept it. If it was some sort of newscast checking to see if people are honest, I would have said that I didn't realize it had over paid me in change. |

I would have kept it but used it to buy more things from Walmart. I would feel guilty if I spent it somewhere else.
I'm sure the Walton billionaires appreciate your honesty. My guess is that if you are shopping at Walmart you need the money more than they do. |
