Nooo!! Save your money for awhile and then get a BoA 99/500 card. That's Bank of America if you didn't know.
If your having troubles with no credit/ bad credit, check out MyFICO.com. Its amazing what a little work and knowledge will do for your scores.
Best of luck! :) |

Well you obviously have bad credit. I also do. I am thinking this is a first premier card or orchard. Well yes the fees are high and the limits are low, but it is a credit building card. I have two first premiers and one orchard. The orchard is good but so are the 1st premiers. They all have similar fees but you need credit cards to build your credit back up to good. That way you can get a good card with no fees. You can visit http://creditcardwarehouseonline.com to view these cards and others and see the fees associated with them. Now if you get one of these cards you want to pay them down immediately. Do not go over your limit or max them out. This does no good for your credit score. Do not use more than 30% of your available credit. This is difficult since you limit will be 300$. So dont use more than 90$. If you do this and pay on time they will raise your limit every six months. Also if it is a first premier never pay online. They also chage 7.95 for online payment fee. Orchard does not. |

If you are going to pay all of those insane fees you might as well get a secured card and set your own limit, that card sounds like first premier, don't waste your money! |

NO!
That's a lot of upfront fees, I can just imagine what the interest rate is! Go to your bank, they will advise you on which of their credit cards best suits your needs! |

Take advantage of competition and capitalism...and ditch those ridiculous fees! There's only about 1,000 no annual fee MasterCards. |

In a word...No. There are other MC's without all of that nonsense. |

Don't do it! They will probably only give you a $300.00 credit limit (and all these fees will take you up there!).
Like others suggested - get a secured card
try capital one or orchard
I can understand the annual fee but, the serving fee, program fee and set up fee are a b.s. fees geared to just take your money. |

Absolutely Not!
If the only card you can get is one with fees (especially ridiculous fees like those) - then you do not need a card.
If you have an average credit score you can get a card w/o fees. So if you can only get a card with those kind of fees....your credit rating must be awful. If that's the case. Don't get the card. Work to repair your credit score and get a card later when you can get better terms.
One of the easiest ways to repair your score - is to pay your bills on time - every month. That means all bills (rent, power, phone etc) not just credit cards. |

Those are SCAMS! It's legal, but still a total scam!
Find a collateralized credit card... You'll start getting "real" credit card offers within 6-8 months. Low limits, but still real cards... My credit was in the tubes after my divorce... I got an Orchard Card 2.5 years ago and have since been able to get two "real" cards and buy my own house... |

I did that before but I have saved up money for all of the fees to pay it all off when my first statement came. I didn't have a problem and it really helped my credit back then (Continental finance & Centinnial). After some time though I got tired of paying to make a payment online or by phone and when you do not use the card you still have to pay the monthly participation fee plus I was then able to get a normal credit card. If this is the only way to go, do what you got to do but be smart. Try Capital one first or even orchard bank. |
