Should I pay my credit cards minimum amount or should I fully pay it off?
Every month the minimum is about 15 dollers and I pay that off, making the full amount easier to pay in one shot. Should I just keep paying it off little by little or should I do it all in one shot? Which is better for me over all, and will help my credit score?

Thanks everyone, but all these mixed answers kind of got me confused. :/

I see this question posted all the time, and working at a credit card company, I can tell you firsthand that the best thing would be to pay it off. Paying the minimum is just that, the "minimum". Interest is still being tacked on what you don't pay. It makes no sense to pay it off when you can. It also helps your FICO score by reducing the ratio of credit used to available credit, and the payment in full is considered an overpayment in relation to the minimum, which looks a lot better as well.

Pay it all off in one shot.

Credit scores are dependent on the reliability of making payments. If you pay off 100% of your balance, that bolsters your credit score.

Contrary to what some may think, carrying a balance doesn't impact your credit score. It's your reliability in paying it off... THAT'S what matters.

Why pay interest, anyway? Why pay someone else the right to use their money when you don't have to? It doesn't make any sense.

Pay it off each month. Otherwise you are adding to the cost of what you purchased on the card because of the interest. If you can't pay the full amount try to get the balance down under half of the limit. If you do carry a balance keep the balance below half of the limit at all times. All of this is better on your credit history. Shows you are resonsible and not living beyond your means.

Pay it off why pay interest !

Pay off your debt as soon as you can, pay the minimum if you have limited money. Otherwise, if you can pay it, pay it off. Because then you dont have to worry about it, and there are no chances of you getting a late payment. That will really hurt your credit score and will send your APR soaring up.

Pay off as much as you can. Don't make money for someone else by paying them interest!

Best Credit score: Carry a balance of less than 50% of your credit available, pay more than your minimum each month and do not pay it off each month. beleive it or not that hurts your credit score and credit cards don't like it if you aren't making them money.

I would pay it off and cancel the cards. Don't worship the fico.
The fico score along with credit cards were designed by banks to get people into debt and keep them in debt.
If you pay as you go.
If you live on less money than you make.
You will have money and not have to obsess with the fico score.

msldybug2003
Taylor is right... do not pay the balance in full each month it will hurt you fico score.
