not if you haven't had a bankruptcy.
If you have a BK on record, it should not say charge off, it should say "included in CH7 bankruptcy of {insert date of discharge}" |

everything should go away,after the discharge. always kept that copy that says discharge,,,that's your paid in full receipt.. some where you going to need it,,,i did |

Some cases on mine it says discharged due to bankruptcy but most of the creditors waited an additional two years before charging off this debt. |

It should say what ever is the truth..if it says anything other than what is correct, obviously you need to get it corrected. |

I filed bankruptcy back in 1994, (Chapter 13), it stayed on my credit report for 7 years, (just saying that I had filed bankruptcy and when I filed it, nothing else). When I finished paying the trustee, he notified the credit agencies, and it was permanently removed from my credit report. |
